Same here. It already nearly doubled in October. Let's all hope we can turn the heating off soon and things will settle down a bit by the autumn.

We barely use our heating at all - an hour max per day during the winter but ours is still soaring.

I do cook a lot so I can only assume that's where the Gas use comes from. And perhaps showers - 3 per day (that's 1 a day each for 3 of us)

I'm pretty pleased with Octopus, we pay £250 pm to account for my wife's inflatable sex pond in the summer months and they've just confirmed that will be staying the same and they will be charging below the price cap for the next 6 months and reviewing it then.

Came acrross this the other day, where they are advocating getting your own meters installed, meaning you never need to pay again. It's a legal loophole, apparently

Sound legit. There was a section in the Magna Carter referring to Freemen of the Meters so definitely worth a go.

Or just petrol bomb their offices.

Although price of petrol these days, probably better off just paying your gas bill.
