I feel sorry for her tbh. I remember saying in a PH thread after that US open win that I wasn’t looking forward to the predictable fan backlash and she seems to have spent as much time dealing with the pressure from her “fans” as she does with anything on court.

It's normally the red tops reporting "Fans" say this and "Fans" say that but it's just the usual muck raking.

She seems like a nice kid so hopefully, things will settle down for her and she can get back to enjoying her Tennis

I doubt it as long as the press are so fixated on her. She gets so much more press attention than the other British women tennis players, and that has to be a factor.
