Burglar scum
Re: Burglar scum
Sorry to read. Even more sorry to read your dad's not replaced anything from the first time. Can't let them beat you.

That’s a bit of a shitter. Fit some cameras which give alerts and have a siren for him as it seems to be a common occurrence?
How about not having a sig at all?

He can't replace the jewellery that came from his mum or my mum's sides of the family. The inconsequential stuff like cameras and the like were replaced.Broccers wrote: Wed Jul 14, 2021 1:18 pm Sorry to read. Even more sorry to read your dad's not replaced anything from the first time. He doesn't want cameras, but will have an alarm system fitted.

I didn't want to replace my camera equipment straight away because in a lot of cases, they come back after a month or so to pick off the Insurance claims - which in our case, they did but they make a load of noise and scarpered.
However, insurance was like for like replacement so not long after the claim, new kit stated to arrive.
The only silver lining was that a few bits were bought grey from Hong Kong were replaced by UK Warranty Canon bits.
Really sucks DJ - we've had 2 break-ins and it's fucking horrible.
