From what I’ve seen of him it’s mostly anti lockdown/vaccine stuff. The usual story of all kinds of cranks coming together for the platform.

Why would pro-Union mean you're anti-lockdown?

It strikes me that the problems for GB News can be boiled down to 2 fairly fundamental issues:

1: The production quality is embarassigly bad - how the hell has that happened given the lead in time they had?

2: It wasn't actually much of a news channel. It seemed to be more of a channel airing opinion pieces. Like a 24hr Newnight or something.

Arguably if they'd actually been a rolling news channel, they might have got away with some of the quality issues for a while longer.

It's a shame, imo, as A Neil is one of the most highly respected journos, and remains one of the few that's not afraid to give any politician a good grilling.

I think Andrew Neil’s ego got the better of him years ago.

I watch Simon and Alex some days and its great. They also had on the earlier news some Great Yorkshire show stuff this week which again was good.

But with all news its basically depressing as f so instead watching golf or cricket while I work is far better for the blood pressure.

I predict the first few shows will get high ratings, mostly from rubber neckers seeing what crap he's spouting, then it'll sink into obscurity, because Farage works better as a guest to rile up viewers; he doesn't have the character or discipline to actually front a show.

I’d like to know what Farage thinks he’s been doing with his life if he thinks spouting crap on TV is a major change.

I enjoyed his show on LBC before the lefties booted him. I mainly can't listen to that station any longer.
