Undoubtedly, see P1 GTR LM Fandango edition.

When looking for a car when buying the 500e I decided against a Lotus Carlton and a Series 3 Espada.

Collective teeth sucking.
OTOH The Espada would've been an epic money pit

Now we’re on the second page, SSO - could you remove the incorrect apostrophe in the thread title?

Yeah, I remember when Esparza and Ferrari 412s were dirt cheap and unloved

Very interesting read as always @SSO.
The one that got away from me was when I was selling the TVR Chimera and had my heart set on a polar silver 993 Turbo w/red leather. Must be about 18/19 years ago now and they were 45-50K or so. The guy had the car up for sale but didn't seem to want to sell it and was bit cantankerous so I walked away.
God dammit.

I don’t think anyone other than mechanics have made money on Espadas!
A rebuilt one is worth good money now, but it will have cost way more to get it to that stage.

At the time it was parts, much like the LC if you needed any car specific parts you just had to wait till a crashed one appeared.Jimexpl wrote: Thu Mar 18, 2021 9:17 amI don’t think anyone other than mechanics have made money on Espadas!

Interesting, I owned a UK registered LHD 993 turbo, polar silver with red/black leather. Wonder if it was the same car?Ascender wrote: Thu Mar 18, 2021 9:11 am Very interesting read as always @SSO.
