I like my MOT guy as it seems like he doesn’t work on cars unless it’s the most basic of tasks like changing bulbs, he solely seems to earn his wedge by getting as many cars through for a MOT as possible per day. He just tells me what I need to do for a pass next year.

But presumably you then do something about those things that are urgent or needing looked at? That's the difference...

Oh yeah, I get your point - just that MoT advisories aren't worth the paper they're not written on anymore.
