Apologies for being blunt. Glad you didn’t have a strop.

You jest but I took a tiny slice off the back of my knuckle the other days while dicing an onion and it was so painless I didn't know it had happened until the onion went red. And then fuck me it bled and it bled. So easy to do!

They joys of razor sharp knives! I've "bumped" my fingers with some of mine occasionally and thought "phew" only for seconds later to notice blood gushing out. The only positive is that you really don't feel anything 😂😂

My chef’s knife fell off the counter a while back and I instinctively reached for it!!!

Thankfully I subconsciously stopped myself but I would have cut to the bone if I caught it

Best knives we have ever owned are Shun.

New Santoku knife arrived today from China. 67 layer Damascus and super sharp. Shaved some arm hairs and sliced a tomato as a quick check. It's a really lovely thing, way better than I was expecting. I think I'll be ordering some more of their knives now.

Am I the only who finds that really sharp knives give the heebie-geebies? I don't think I'd be comfortable being around something that potent.

No - they’re really cool.

No awareness of Chinese knives - that one looks proper enough McSwede.

Less than razor sharp knives give me the heebie-geebies

If you’re worried, get a razor sharp knife and a mail glove

It's really nice! Feels like a child's toy after being used to using a cleaver most of the time. Diced some onions, carrots and mushrooms last night to cook with some mince and it was a joy to use.

Stunned at the quality for £21. I will be ordering one or two others to add to the collection now.

Knife arrived today, no charges, chopped potatoes for tea like they weren’t there, brushed thumb when going to wash knife, lost about a pint so far! Fuck it’s sharp!
