I've just got back into CoD after about 10 years away. Started with Warzone but I've just bought Cold War as I have a few mates playing it. Just bought a Switch too.
New TV and console next year once there are some games worth making the upgrade for.
I dropped CoD after all the bad shit that came out about Activision Blizzard.
Did get a 4K TV and a Series X
Mostly been playing single player games this year, got through a few good games.
Death Stranding (amazing)
Days Gone (surprisingly great)
Control (took ages to finish but I was glad I did)
Ring Of Pain (I love this weird little game)
Mass Effect LE (It's Mass Effect innit, still great)
Superliminal (very cool puzzle game)
Animal Crossing (I managed to break the addiction a few months ago

)
Currently playing Loop Hero on my Switch and FH5.

Ah yes Epic did also add Control to my pile of shame.

I dug out the old XBOX360 a couple of months ago and I’ve nearly finished Fable 2.

I got a PS5, played GoW and TLoU (1/2) and haven't since touched it in months!
Re: VR - I finally managed to play HL:Alyx this year and it's incredible

the ending is worth it alone!
Not played Cyberpunk, waiting on the overhaul this year.

Haven’t made any of upgrades for two years now I think, can’t be bothered with consoles any more.
I think the only new thing I’ve downloaded was FH5, which I’m taking advantage of the Christmas break to start playing through.

I got bored of FH5 after all of 10 days. GTA Trilogy was so piss poor at launch that I haven’t bothered with that either. Probably spent most of this year playing Cyberpunk, then went back to No Mans Sky on the PS5 which seems to be my go to if I have 30 minutes free.

Agreed with horizon, there needs to be a motorsport between the releases really so you can switch between the sim and arcade style rather than two horizon games in the bounce
