It’s a very 2020 colour appropriate selection.
How about not having a sig at all?

It's like your duck printer is running out of ink.

Everything is sitting on the patio at the moment - which it won’t be long-term.

They are in a plastic coop during the night which is inside a 2x3m cage - and the wire outer goes to 5-10mm from the ground.

Get them out of the coop during the day.

Long term will get to “free range” in a larger area, but probably only when we are around. We get pine martens in the garden occasionally .... risk.

Should make for a tasy Xmas dinner though 8-)

ETA: I've just remembered going to a country show and watching some bloke herd Indian Runners with his sheepdog - it was quite amusing actually and the youngster loved it.

I was thinking the same based on @mik's recent post in the DYELK thread. Coincidence?

Very cool!

We've had thought about getting some chickens, maybe that's one for the Spring.
Cheers,

Mike.

What do you do with any pet? At least ducks lay eggs which taste good.

We have 2 dogs.

I wasn’t fussed about ducks - they are Mrs mik’s interest. Yeah we will get eggs for a few seasons. When you build trust ducks will come to you and follow you about and you can pat their heads and feed them peas and quack quack quack quaaaack QUAACK quack.

That reminded me of this. “Now you can see what it feels like...” (approx 3mins in)

Well done :D

Duck eggs are the most amazing colour and taste though, we have someone keeping us in a supply of them at the moment.
Cheers,

Mike.
