I still have the super shot, rough rider, super astute and fox on my list but I’ve run out of shelf space and haven’t run the top force I built a couple of years ago.

A new one, it’s a classic Impreza on a TT02 chassis. I didn’t get the Mustang she’ll but I could buy that separately in the future if I wanted.

My Hornet and Holiday buggy are at the parents in various states of repair, I wish I could retrieve them to get them going again

My missus hasn’t been bringing any money in and apparently we spend a lot more when we’re both just kicking around the flat so I’ve been trying to be sensible.

Looking at knobbly tyres for the land cruiser though.

I've upgraded my PC to run mixed/virtual reality stuff for "research" purposes so I can WFH. Also bought a second monitor, 1440p IPS of loveliness. And of course, sold and bought a few watches.

Same, I’ve always called it a Pulaski.

I’ve been pretty frugal as all my extra time has gone into looking after cars and building sheds

Was one of the first things I bought when we bought our first house 18yrs ago, when I needed to dig a drainage channel in very heavy clay. Had to buy a new handle for it a few years ago, but they're awesome. You can destroy most things in a garden with a mattock

What does lawn netting do? I borrowed my dads telescopic hedge trimmers and they were a nightmare, too heavy and unwieldy when extended.

Perhaps as a result of a childhood raised on Sergio Leone Westerns, I think you need to be wearing a pair of these when using a Mattock...

I’ve been mulling over getting rid of the 3 series and getting a luxobarge of some sort.

Maybe get an LS400 to go with the landcruiser

Hopefully keeps the winged rats off the grass seed I'll be putting down. I'll be using it on the fruit trees as well, hopefully to keep both the pigeons and the squirrels off.

Doesn't break much, but it can be a bit expensive when it does.
I think the worst one was the new front dampers - they're the "adaptive" ones so about £800 for the pair which hurt a bit.
Apart from that I've done a couple of lambdas (not too bad at £120 each), a wheel speed sensor (£100ish), a section of exhaust (generic), lots of suspension bushes and ball-joints (as part of a wider suspension overhaul a couple of years ago), a gearbox overhaul/refresh (£300). Overall, not bad for 10 years of ownership.

Thanks, that doesn’t seem too bad.

It’s pretty much idle musing just now as I want to get the Landcruiser home and where I want it before I decide what I’m doing with the other car.
