I’ve used an air compressor for a while now, used to use the jump starter which had a built in compressor for years though. However it had a thick clamp on style fitting which made it unsuitable for some applications. This is one of my best tools now after being recommended by my tyre fitter

Made in the U.K. with calibration certificate, it’s rebranded by Sealey and many others for close to double the price. The best bit is it’s properly made and has a narrow push on head. A joy to use.

I use an old pencil gauge, and a twin chamber foot pump. Don't trust the built in gauges.
This works fine for me too. I bet most of those scouring the internet for the best value zero effort solutions also pay gym fees to build up the muscles that they could develop using a foot pump now and then. Non-gym members with auto tyre inflation devices can be filed under 'lazy bastards'.

Amusing that pcl copies are more expensive than the genuine ones. When I got my compressor I used pcl compatible own brand fixing and they were shite so started using the proper ones.
I could do with a decent high flow inflator but don't want a hold on one as I like to be able to distance myself a little bit when popping a tyre on as some go with quite a bang!
