That looks awesome for the kids.i can see myself taking the caravan there in the summer 😎
It is tremendous. Best holiday park I've ever been to by a country mile.
Cheers.

Currently booked with Jet2 for Greece on August. Only paid the deposit so far (£240) with the balance not due until nearly the end of May. Hoping we'd be past the worst by then. I'd lose the deposit if we cancel before that date but after that and it's a sliding scale, so that's probably the decision date. Of course, they'd give a full refund if the destination is a no-fly zone and you don't accept an alternative but worst case would be going somewhere and then being in lockdown.

Due to go to The Lakes on April 6th for a week, which we're fully expecting to have to cancel. And Disney Paris is booked for August and I guess at this point I'd wonder whether that will have to be cancelled too. Although there's a slim chance by the summer things may be slightly better. We'd have to decide whether to cancel before May though and lose the deposit of course, which is when the balance is charged I think.

Thankfully nothing booked at the moment - my cousin and his family are supposed to be going to Florida in a couple of weeks which has now been binned.

The only holiday I have planned is N24 in May. Not sure if that’ll happen or not

All non essential EU travel banned for the next 30 days now, so that's officially it.
Cheers.

I just had an email from Ryanair offering free change of flights to a later date... which would then negate the need for them to refund me £1100. Not daft, Mr O'Leary.

In the past I have flown for a quid + taxes! It's ridiculous now, by the time you've added all the extra shite you need to actually get two adult and 4 kids from A to B on a aeroplane with anything more than a pair of pants in your pocket it's cheaper to fucking learn to fly and DIY.

See also school holidays tax.

My trip back to the UK is obviously on hold. That was England, Scotland, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, then back through the US via Cape Cod area and friends in Houston.

My guess is it won't happen at all until this time next year, and then I've got to try and dodge work trying to force staff to use stockpiled leave to cover them not being in work due to virus stuff. If the leave allowance goes down, then it may be a few years til I can do the trip. :|

N24 is delayed to September now, that may or may not result in better weather...

If the world has gotten a bit saner by then if be tempted to go myself. Had a blast when I went four years ago.

Our Croatia flights have been officially cancelled by Ryanair, so we’re getting our money back on those.

Our holiday has been moved to next March. Annoyingly, eurotunnel won't move our tickets to the same date as they only last 1 calendar year from day of purchase not date of travel.

Least of our worries at the moment though!
Cheers.

Being around Folkestone and Dover there are so many foreign cars still here. I thought they were trapped but looks like the ferry crossings are still accepting passengers (presumably only those returning home) whereas the Chunnel is freight only now.

The Caravan Club have closed their sites until the end of June. I suspect this is in part to stop the exodus that has been happening to Scotland and Cornwall etc.

We had Easter booked away in the motorhome but had started to realise that this was unlikely to happen.

Edit - Camping and Caravanning club closed too.

It's been rammed with day trippers at anything remotely touristy in South Wales. Brecon reckon they had the biggest footfall they've ever had yesterday.

I take back my comment above, they may close Wales.
