We have fritters up here, slices of battered potato. Don’t if it’s the same thing.
Fritters, chips and curry sauce is my go to hangover cure.

I love mussels but love oysters more. Best I ever had we’re in Seattle, although curiously Whitby was also excellent.
That said, you can’t beat a mushy pea fritter.
