Went past an F40 on trade plates on the M25, I think it might actually be the first time I've seen one on the road. Spotted him cruising in the slow lane as I was passing, so slowed down and pulled in to see if I could admire it a little longer. The driver duly crossed a few lanes behind me and hammered past me, naturally I got my window down as I saw him making the move. Was duly greeted by a several gun salute has he came past and lifted off. It was proper loud.

I'm not usually a F40 pant wetter, but it just seemed like a special special car. Was buzzing for ages after seeing it.

I've seen quite a few F40s out and about bizarrely (always special though!!), but I had a first for me yesterday, a McMerc SLR. I have to say, I just don't like them!!

I saw one on the road once as well, on the other side of a dual carriageway so didn't get to see it for long though

Huh. Where are you based ? This was in Camberley.

Near Shoreditch, so not impossible that it's the same one, although I think the one I pass is a bit tattier, will take a pic next time I see it.

I saw Dario Franchitti’s F40 parked in Edinburgh once, had a proper poke around it

Not the rarest car I’ve ever seen oddly.

Quite a few years ago travelling back from Silverstone in my Clio v6, an F40 and F50 passed me on the m1. I dropped in behind them and followed them for a few miles taking in the view and awesome sounds

Passed by a bright orange Exige S with the plate ‘EXIIGE S’

Bright blue Jaguar Project 8 making a lovely sound as it passed the pub, heading towards Stourbridge this afternoon.

We struggled to shift them in 2010-2012 at Landmark, so if we ever had two in stock one would be hidden in the basement! £300-£360k at that time…

Yeah, as supercars go they’re not all that rare, although I expect they’re fairly rare to see being used these days. At one point you could pick them up for £250k which although a lot of money want much more than a mortgage on a decent house, and were moderate windfall attainable rather than needing a euro millions win

A white Ariel Atom and a white KTM XBow convoying in Stourbridge this afternoon. Neither were wearing a face covering and didn't seem like they were enjoying it either.

Also, Fezza 360. They've not aged well at all.

I’ve warmed to the 360 over the years. The F355 was and is one of my favourite looking cars ever so I thought the 360 was an utter pig but it has grown on me somewhat.

430 over the 360 though.

Most 360s just look like plastic kitcar ferraris, red and yellow particularly prone to it.

I think the CS versions look amazing though. Surprising how much difference some wheels, lowering and a dash of neg camber makes.

I think that the kit that squares off some of the curves helps.

I always preferred the Spider to the coupe. The flat deck over the engine is much better than the coupe.
