I’m watching highlights on 4+1. We’ve not had a wheel turn in months and they’re spending half the show watching Hamilton talking about famous black people. FFS, just show F1 cars.

Thems the Sky rules. Only a certain percentage of the show can be on track footage

Beats spending half the broadcast troubleshooting HDCP issues preventing me watching it.

You're joking! I’m assuming the percentage is single figures...

It’s pathetic - it’s supposed to be sports highlights and all I’ve had so far is lectures on black/disabled/gender/equality rights...

Yep, utter crap. I watch sports to get away from this kind of stuff and to zone out on something I enjoy.

Dave!

No joke. There's minimum time between race ending and C4 show starting and then the percentages of footage. Hence why last year a lot of C4 highlights were on so late and had such lengthy programmes. For a few they wanted to have extended highlights which meant lots of filler sadly.

So who are the drivers saying they don’t wish to kneel before the race as it’s offensive in their home countries/cultures?

Good analysis here

Think the season is over for Ferrari, can’t see an aero upgrade overcoming that engine deficit.

So is this pretty conclusive evidence that Ferrari have managed to squeeze a second and a half out of their engine last year? That’s some serious horsepower. It also adds to the secret aerodynamicist articles where the engineer stated early on that the Ferrari philosophy had limited room for development.

Is this related to the fuel flow workaround they had?

I’d like to see Norris on the podium.

Couple of rumours that the merc engine might be a bit fragile.

In reality, It’ll probably be a 1-2 for Mercedes in whatever order.

Vettel to dnf.

Vettel to spin at least once

Red bull to spit their dummy out for a 3rd time this weekend and lodge a protest against something else

Bottas to cock up and loose a certain victory
