Someone on PH was putting some enormous 400mm carbon ceramic brakes on one with 10 pot callipers or something but I don’t think it was ever concluded ?

Not sure about the interior, but great concept.
At least until I saw the gear lever…

I don't really like when people do wholesale swaps like that. You lose too much of the character of the original car and end up with an awkward thing that's worse than the sum of it's parts.

Yeah the more I look at it, the less it appeals tbh.

I get that it's probably more difficult with modern engines when you have to deal with all the electronics but I bet you could've done the engine with an aftermarket manual and axle for less than that cost. It'd be lighter and more fun to drive.

Impressed that after all these years people still don't get ebay. I put a phone on yesterday with a starting bid of £50, already had 14 bidders!

Love the colour, don't like the wheels or the interior trim.

Conversely, my wife had someone contact her after an auction had ended and she'd been paid, telling her that she'd have been willing to pay way more than the final bid. Well why not bid then? Another one who doesn't know how eBay works.
Personally I like to bid relatively early but I don't tend to buy things on eBay except obscure stuff so I don't get into a bidding war at the end.

I'll put in an early bid as an expression of interest, especially if there's no other bids, in the hope that the seller doesn't pull the listing due to lack of interest.
I then snipe with gixen if I really want it.

Exactly that.
A starter bid also puts it in your bidding list so it’s easier to keep an eye on than a watch list.

The colour is the only thing I like.
Not sure saying you went to a bmw show adds much to its value either unless it won a prize or was part of a particularly special display.
I don’t know, maybe we should start listing places we’ve parked in for sale ads

And that also acts as a reminder that you've maybe set a snipe. I've won a few things in the past that I had totally forgotten I'd set a snipe for

I'm imagining many, many poor (out of focus etc) random pics of the item with a long list of where the item's been, why, and what happened when it was there, but no decent pics and no details about it

Look at the last picture.
They're all parked like....BMWs.

The exterior colour and interior really don't match. It feels like it was spec'd by an older architect as it's all very sensible but then they thought they'd live life on the edge (for an architect) and went for the purple.
Then the next person bought it and tried to make it look like a mix between a 335 and a Call of Duty gun skin.

The M3 GT above, on a classified at £90k, just ended at £27,200 on a no reserve auction. Chances of them completing the sale?
