Is there an option like on mine where you can add a WiFi antenna. Mine was £6 on eBay.

Finally picking the 928 up from the paintshop on Thursday. The bill is..... expensive. To be fair, there's a ton of work been done (new sills, loads of welding, new windscreen and lots of expensive window and door trims - 246 hours of labour in total) but it's still a fuck load of money.

Of the bill or the car? I suspect the former looks like half a roll of loo paper in length, and the latter epic.

I told her to let me try with a can of refrigerant from Halfords - it has a sealant and it fixed a pinhole leak in the X5 and my Mito which has held for over 3/5 years respectively.
Thanks for mentioning this, I hadn't heard of it before and the A2 is now being less chilly. Will give it a go (with fingers crossed).

I’ll be interested in this as paint shops have taken a huge jump
In prices of late.

Dave!

What year is it Gavin? We have to plug in to use Android Auto. But the logical place to put the phone (cubby under the heater controls) isn't quite big enough to put a phone without it resting on the plug and I'm sure it knackered my old LG phone's usb socket as a result
A 2018.
Same year as ours then. Can't say I've had any issues since getting the pixel. I did have a few with my old LG but as I say I think that was mostly because the phone's usb socket was a bit tired.

My daughters Mito is continuing to be a shed and has started to whine, fingers crossed its a wheel bearing!

She has a years no claims in August so it will be going, its easily been the most expensive car I've had to maintain over 18 months but at least it hasn't depreciated!

Crazy, mines cost literally buttons.

A headlight level sensor, which it’s only got because it’s got xenons, at £100 has been the biggest / most annoying expense.

Same here, my only out of ordinary expenditure on it has been a door handle and one brake caliper in the past few years.

It may well be that she is an animal with a total lack of mechanical sympathy which may account for the wheel arch liner, radiator, engine and gearbox mounts, cv shaft and exhaust!

We are going to see a GT86 on friday which for her sake i hope will be cheaper to run as I'm cutting her loose in lieu of helping her buy it :D

Mate has one, likes it a lot, doesn't take much to look after.

His DMF is going so I dunno if they're considered weak. So is mine, but my car is over twenty years old, his ain't. Might just be a 'hard life' thing.

I’d imagine it’s more to do with rattly vibratey 4 pot ( or even 2 cylinder) vs creamy smooth 6 cylinder petrol than a fair Alfa vs bmw comparison!
