Pop a private plate on that and it's pretty much timeless m. 48k in 15 years too...

That is lovely. Quite rare as a Sport GT, the later 4.7 GTS would be £40k and I don't think there's a great deal of difference 8-)

The cheapest ones were banger money a few years ago. I guess they’ve all gone to scrap as £10k to £12k looks like the bottom of the market now.

I’d expect that to have mega miles on for £13k! Seems like a bargain. £630 a year on tax can be overlooked.

Someone, somewhere has p/x'd that for about £8k...

It's because it's £12,950, then £12,950 every year after that.

I'm guessing it rarely goes anywhere under its own power. The 48k doesn't include mileage covered on the back of a recovery truck

I don't know anything about them. But my Dad assures me that although it says DuoSelect in the advert, this one actually has the later (much better) ZF 'box.

If it were me I'd have to beg borrow or steal the extra for a facelift - they look so much more modern its hard to believe you can achieve that with effectively just a new grille.

Seem to also be available for similar miles for barely much more:

Naturally the one to really get is a 4.7 S (rather than GT-S which is now big money) which should be achievable for under £20k...

Once they had the proper auto box they ironed out a lot of problems seemingly. The f1 style box was awful in this but great in the 360.

It’s a heavy old thing but glorious.

Dave!

They’ve been there or thereabouts for a half decent one for a long long time. I still like them a lot, but would be scared of the bills.

You can see from the gear knob it has the ZF box rather than the little T handle on the automated manual like Ferrari 360's have.

I'm not sure but I think the the GT and GTS have less troublesome passive dampers to go with the 20" wheels rather than the skyhook active stuff.

It would be a bold buy but loads of car for the cash😎

The dealer is in Farnham, which is not far from here. I'm expecting my Dad to ask me to meet him there to have a look.

And this evening I'm finding myself browsing Range Rovers. I fancy a green L322 with the 4.4 TDV8. I must be subconsciously competing with my Dad on who can buy the most unreliable V8 barge

Green? Who are you and what have you done with the real @Sundayjumper?

I'm coming around to the idea that big cars look better in dark colours. Black is a bit drug dealer. Dark green is very British. Seems appropriate for a Rangie.

Anyway, ignoring that, this one will get us back on track. Silver, cheap, and slightly broken. My kinda thing.

Spoke to my Dad today. He's planning on giving them a call and viewing next weekend.
