I wonder if there were undiclosed nasties. The flaking paint on the rear bumper is obvious but the front bumper (even discounting the bonnet is open) looked misadjusted/hanging off on the off-side - perhaps indicative of a front impact at some point.

Reading to Cheshire way (I think, but it's northern anyway), at this time likely to be 3 hours plus.
