Looks like some sort of supercharged V8 up front, so it should be OK

edit - although it sure as hell isn't chucking out 500 bhp on an s/c Rover V8 boat anchor.

Looks like an Eaton M112 and chargecooler setup off a Jag on a later 4.6 Rover. It's possible that it's making 500, the supercharger will support it and forced air overcomes even the wheeziest of cylinder heads. How reliable it is, is another matter.

I reckon it's probably nearer 400, but it depends what he's done with the pulleys.
