I only have 160mm brake disks but my riding is nowhere near as trendy so I’m still always impressed. It is exactly that, the lack of pressure needed, the ability to use a finger or two only, which gives massive confidence.

I’ve just upgraded mine, i now have a 220mm front disc 200mm rear with 4 pot calipers (Magura MT7)

I've been looking at those for a little while myself, just very hard to get here it seems and not much in the way of spares etc. Been wondering whether the new Mavens would do the same thing.

But also considering upgrading to the current version of my bike which has them as standard so...

It’s the Paris Roubaix on Sunday, with MVDP going for his fourth win, while Pogi is undoubtedly desperate to bag his first Roubaix win. However the course isn’t in Pogi’s favour, it lacks the climbs which he uses to create gaps and he won’t want to drag MVDP to the finish for a sprint. Should all make for an interesting and strategic race

I had the dreaded derailleur into the rear wheel over the weekend. Somehow the derailleur hangar didn't snap and I was able to coax things back into shape to continue the ride although it was far from perfect. No idea what caused at as up until it happened the bike was changing gear perfectly, the only possible thing I can think of is that a wheel flicked a branch up which hit the derailleur.

Started the repair this morning and after removing the derailleur it was still clearly out of shape. I gently tried to tease it back into shape and it instantly snapped in two, very lucky to get home and avoid a long walk/lift.

Paris Roubaix on Sunday was epic, with it going right down to the line and a massively deserved winner. Worth catching up with some highlgihts if you're interested!

Definitely want to watch some of this. Only seen a few seconds of the cobbles and the last lap in the Velodrome so far.

That last lap had me out my seat screaming at the TV
