That's my general experience too. Or if I am finalising/paying over the phone they say "just to let you know, this is set to auto-renew -if that's OK". To which I respond. "Non".jamcg wrote: Fri Jun 30, 2023 10:03 amThere was a ticky box when sorting out my new policy to opt out of auto renew

Found out this morning if the Jag is in dynamic mode, if you turn off the Trac DSC setting to full DSC off, it then brakes the wheel spinning wheel and mimics an e Diff.
Had no idea it would do that, in normal mode it just spins away the power with DSC off.
Two and a half rears I've had this car

They should last longer now.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Excellent freudian slip in relation to wheelspin. Would read again.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Would a Scout have been even more so?

First time sticking my bike in the boot of the S6 today. I think the current A6’s dimensions are pretty much identical to the last one so I wasn’t expecting any issues. Weirdly it seemed to be more spacious; and that’s despite the rear seats not folding quite flat since they’re a bit sculpted to be sporty.
Re: Your fleet running reports
My father has had a tiny, almost non existent bump - not a mark on the other vehicle - in the Yeti, the shin airbag has gone off and the ins. co. say it's a write off because just replacing that will be £4/5k+
I'd assumed an airbag going off would put the dash light on but it disnae
Top marks to the chap(s) in the other motor and a couple of pedestrians for checking on him
I guess they heard a bang from the airbag and feared the worst, from my fa's account they didn't take his word he was ok and had to satisfy themselves. Good people

Glad he's okay. Writing it off for one airbag sounds crazy! How old is it and what's the valuation?

I get that, but £13.5k vs £8k.
Re: Your fleet running reports
It sounds like they have priced it on replacing all the airbags!
The knee bag isn't even part of the dashboard and can be bought separately.
Maybe worth looking on the toob to see if it's diyable.

It’s quite amusing really - I know the dealer is trying it on a bit and it’ll sell nearer £12k because we got £10,200, but we paid (asking price) of £10,494 in September 2020 on 18k miles, from a dealer with a warranty
