Birmingham car is from McLaren Birmingham; the price will include warranty + the other legal protections you get from a retail sale. And it's lower mileage too, if we're going to get into splitting hairs ;)

Comparing to the 360 is daft anyway. I was taking issue with the twitter suggestion that the McLaren is a huge bargain when it's really not.

There’s quite a few horror stories emerging from people who have won cars through collecting cars now. It just seems to be turning into eBay for higher end cars now and most are not going for particularly cheap.

I’m not the biggest 360 fan, but the CS is something else. They’re in classic collectors Ferrari territory now so aren’t going to stack up too well in a value for money comparison, but come back in another 5-10 years and see what’s happened to the prices of both.

I used to love hot rods as a kid, I was sure I was going to own a ‘34 Ford ( like the black one ) at some point, before realising that the twisties are a lot of fun 🤣

Would still love a proper lumpy cam, rocking on idle, barely silenced big block v8 at some point in my life.

Yep. Let’s also check which have been driven too.

32K and only 50K on the odometer? What's the catch?

That's lovely though.

It’s a 12 year old Aston Martin V12. That’s the catch.

I've genuinely no idea about running costs and parts costs for one of those... How do they fare?

It's just two Mondeo V6s stuck together with silicone. Cheap as chips.

I don't think the badging on that is standard though, people who stick their own badges on cars are usually morons and the car is probably knackered from being driven around at 12mph and never serviced.

It’s also had the rear lights tinted/sprayed black and what’s with the random bits of trim wrapped in black too? Maybe it was all wrapped in black and murdered out before. Which tells you all you need to know about the previous owner

Also what’s with the random smattering of Aston Martin Cognizant F1 stickers inside the car

That shiny blue trim on the centre console isn’t normal. Nor the steering wheel cover.

Didn't realise that BMW's M division had a hand in developing in the 'sports' mode either.

"Air Filter (V12) | 20K Miles £320.00"

"At 70,000 miles spark plugs must be replaced* add £1,150."
