If I was spending £110k on a car I’d want to see the interior first
There are pics of the interior further down in the ad.

I don't hate it, but they do just seem to have tried to "copy" a Singer rather than putting their own unique style on it. And it might just be the quality of the photography, but something just looks a bit off about the whole thing - the rear end just doesn't look right but I genuinely don't know what it is.

Some assembly required.

I've just thought, do similar to a Covin 911 and bung the word Evocation in there somewhere and I think people would care less that it's a fake 911 than that it's a fake Singer.

Something for SJ or Harry to tinker with (or maybe Dave! Transaxle would leave space up front for a V12);

I'm not a Merc Guy but I do kinda like the SL. Needs some electrical fixing. Can't be *too* difficult..... can it ??

My FiL used to have a silver one. A lovely thing. The non OEM badging on the bootlid makes my teeth itch, so that'd have to change

I still have a think for these. Sounds like its had a lot of work done, but that engine bay looks really scruffy to me?

Compared to this one.

I don't think it's scruffy per se, it's just not had a detailer be paid £500 to lick the strut housings.
Edit: which is kinda handy as any slow oil leaks are less likely to have been cleaned up etc

Yeah, you're right, which is maybe why the spots of rust stand out more?
I did have someone come and look at the Boxster who wanted me to get it detailed before he'd then come back to look at it again...

I think that rusty fuel rail is making it look worse than it actually is. Could have done with a going over with a wire brush and a bit of paint.

Very much this. It looks honest. A clean engine is a bit suspicious.
Cleaning up the oil leaks before an MOT, that's fine though

Nope, it is a piece of cake, an afternoon's work if you factor in a few breaks for tea (I've no idea, but I do like that generation SL). Buy it!
