Missed that bit - yes the battery is within the downtube and comes out downwards just in front of the motor. So you put it on a stand or flip it over to remove. 500WH or 700WH depending on the version.unzippy wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 5:02 am
Looks well tasty Dave - I'm guessing the battery is integrated?
i think that is exactly the potential issue though - physically getting the extra speed wouldn’t be an issue, but having to have extra speed and deal with it mentally and braking/etc would/could be.
That old chestnut...
Definitely try one for sure. You might love it, or equally, hate it. I reckon Swinley would be a laugh, but I'd imaging somewhere like Cwymcarn is somewhere they'd really shine, as you've got a real long technical goat trail climb straight out of the car park.Rich B wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 8:54 ami think that is exactly the potential issue though - physically getting the extra speed wouldn’t be an issue, but having to have extra speed and deal with it mentally and braking/etc would/could be.
Like giving a 400bhp car another 200bhp and saying you can now go much faster through eau rouge, so why aren’t you?
I need to have a go on one by the sounds of it, these questions are quite subjective!

10+ runs down in a day or probably 2-3 runs up and down. Nah, I’m alright!Gwaredd wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 12:10 pm Try riding up for once![]()
As much as I love going down, I take enormous satisfaction in clearing techy climbs. It becomes especially more technical when you're traveling 3 times as fast.
Not for a bike park with an uplift - but I’d still like to see how one would get on at a local trail (with jumps). As I said earlier, I saw one at Rogate which was very successful at getting more runs in (especially with a nipper).
Sidi carbon ones. Do it, you tart.JLv3.0 wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 4:38 pm My cycling shoes have broken. Soles and uppers have decided to part company.
