Brugge was awesome, great beer, great scenery, great ambience and did I mention the beer. Perfect romantic winter getaway.

Once you’ve done Brugge, Ghent is the better city to visit if you’re headed that way.

Brugge has a lovely couple of Fondue restaurants that we ate at when we were there. Nice place, don't get the hate.

Well tbh it’s never appealed to me, but why have I been dragged into it?

It's a fairytale town, isn't it? How's a fairytale town not somebody's fucking thing? How can all those canals and bridges and cobbled streets and those churches, all that beautiful fucking fairytale stuff, how can that not be somebody's fucking thing, eh?

I’m a particular fan of the clock tower. And the midgets.

Bruges is lovely. Apart from beer and chocolate, also known for lace making.

Even midgets have to take drugs to stick it.

Show us on the teddy bear where they touched you whilst you were in Bruges?

Only took me 2 days to get this far

Oh well it’s ready to terrorise some wood in time for the bank holiday weekend.

Why the downer on Bruges ? This doesn't seem like you.

Replaced the spark plugs this weekend - after eventually managing to borrow a torque wrench that did settings that low - and took the 4C out for a bit.
Turns out the misfire *was* due to faulty plugs, because it now idles nicely once warm. Nothing noticable on the old plugs, in fact quite clean (as they would be for 10 months/1500 miles I guess).
Either way, easy fix as I was expecting to move onto swapping coil packs.

Looking at the second down having more carbon on the threads- wonder if it just wasn’t torqued down enough and allowing gasses out and causing low compression

@Matty If there are no cracks in the ceramic part then I think @jamcg might have the right answer….

If I grew up on a farm and was retarded, Bruges might impress me, nut I didn't so it doesn't.

I was starting to wonder if that was the reason. I get it now

Interesting...
@mik they look perfect to my dodgy eyes.
So I wasn't sure how accurate the torque wrench I had was, mate said it hadn't really been used much, but was a decent one so was happy it'd be accurate. The plugs should be 16-20Nm. I set the wrench to 18, figured I'd use the current plugs (which should

be torqued correctly as a guide) - if the current ones didn't move much, the wrench was about right.
I noticed that I could give a couple of the current plugs another good 1/2 turn before it clicked...and that felt really, really tight so got a bit concerned and dropped it down to 16. Then fitted the new ones.
Disappointing if that's the case....I'm due back at the garage for the next service so I'll have a word. Thanks
@jamcg
