Having a snorkel is no good if the water pressure stoves your radiator and oil cooler in

There is a correct technique of course.
Pick the gear you want tho use throughout. Probably 1st as you want the revs reasonable high - deep water isn’t easy to push through, and you want plenty of exhaust gases keeping your exhaust clear.
Enter water slowly.
As you get to the deeper part accelerate to create a bow wave (which creates a shallower part behind for the front of your car to go through)
Maintain your speed - if the bow wave goes away ahead you are going too slow. If you eat the bow wave - you are going too fast.
Don’t change gear mid-way. In a manual you’ll probably slow to almost zero as you shift, and you are also very likely to get water in your clutch, which causes it to judder like a bastard until it dries. Don’t slip the clutch for the same reason.

Chap in my local car club has an S660 and I love it. Yes, odd tyre size. Edit: 165/55r15 on his one.
Ditto to that - I remember it being insane at the time, also remember the Astra that you briefly see with the other max power cars - had a massive want for the Tecnomagnesio Detroit F1 wheels on it at the time (also think it had a swing out driver seat but could easily be another car)

Aye, the Fiesta? at the front reminded me of that trend of putting Imprezza turbo bumpers on everything. My dad always reckoned he was the first to put one on an Escort RS Turbo, like that was something to be applauded

They are... "relaxed" some of the carb tuning geekery is fun and he gets to drive some of the special-ist stuff around.
Those wheels were custom BBS ordered by the owner (car is 1 owner).
