I'm going to make a crazy controversial statement and suggest those wings don't do a fucking thing from a practical aerodynamics standpoint.
They do gain 'rule of cool' points though
They serve as little benches for him to chuck his enormous bollocks on as he swings his legs over to sit.
Rallying seems to be going through another period where the cars are rapid

Ah the memories...
Mate of mine had a GTE16v, another mate built a Corsa with Calibra turbo motor (scary as F to drive)

History of the Flux Capacitor, Jonny Smith's one time fastest street EV. Has some very funny old footage of him and an interesting anecdote on the cars connection to Thurst 2 LSR.

I enjoyed that. I've not seen any of his stuff before.

It's definitely worth a look - he's an entertaining chap and very much has no fear.
He did an E60 M5 bottom end by himself because why not

This sounds absolutely amazing.
If this will be the Murray swan song then he may actually nail it.

You’d save a shitload of money just keeping that drivetrain in an ultima chassis

Thanks for posting - my all time favourite driver. I remember crying as a kid on hearing of his death.

Yeah I really like the guy's vids. So much so it's given me an unhealthy dose of want for an E31 850i.
I'm up to date with his most recent projects so have now gone back to the start to the early ones he did. Interesting seeing the development of his style.

Yeah, he makes a lot of the stuff look really straightforward - which to a certain extent, it is - if you have a lift, a decent toolkit, a second car and no fear
I like his carbon fibre cloths and other little idioms too.

Indeed. And that's the danger. I have no time, no lift, a reasonable amount of tools (thanks to my history of Frenchies) but nothing like what he's been gifted and thankfully very little fear.
Watching him change the PAS feed pipe on Project Dubai only yesterday has me thinking "piece of piss" if mine turns out to be the same issue. I am under no illusions it would be far less of a piece of piss than he makes it look.
