Even though the market is in the dumps, I bought BTC in 2022 when it was around $40k and then sold half of it in Jan this year when it was around $95k so got more than my original investment out and will leave the rest in there to see what happens

They'll be 500k one day.

Incredible market manipulation going on. 90 day tariff leak 2 days ago to test the water presumably. “Fake news”
Loaded up on stocks and let it rip today.
It’s like the Bitcoin thing earlier.

I was handing over a house to a client today who heads up a $20bn global fund and I've never seen him so distracted tracking stock prices on his phone - I guess it's been a fun couple of weeks at work!

I forgot about the whole NFT fad but looks like nobody ever really understood it judging by current valuations.

My Dad asked me about NFTs a few years ago after reading about them in the news. He’s a 70 odd year old Yorkshireman. I can’t remember his exact words but it was along the lines of ‘WTF’, ‘what is wrong with people’ and ‘bloody daft’.

Sounds like a big shady money laundering emperors new clothes scam to me.
and if it isn’t, shame on the dickhead who spent all those millions on that rather than setting up something to help others.

People are idiots, don't ever forget that.
A mate of mine's son has got himself into Mystery Box's - He bought a Mystery Box for £25. When it arrived, it was a cash box with something inside. NOTHING ELSE. So bought another one - this time, it contained a key which when he checked, opened the cashbox. This revealed it contained another key. And so it goes.
The end goal is that
someone will open a box, find a key for a new BMW and instructions to where it's parked and bingo - you've won a car.
He's £400 or £500 into this and struggling to let go.
It's pure insanity but there you go...

This surely must be a good buy-in point for BTC. Was $106k in Jan, now down to $80k.
If you bought BTC when I posted this in Feb, you'd be up 30% today as it's nearly at $104k. Bitcoin is an easy way to make money if you've watched the markets for a long time and are very, very patient.

I think the people that didn't buy any of them probably best understood it.

I'm annoyed. I wanted to buy Tesla one more time as I thought it had a final pump left in it. The earnings were so bad I firmly binned off that thought and its up $100 since then. I guess it's better to be out wishing you were in than to be in and wishing you were out. I think I got that saying right
