Going to be a difficult race for bottas, not only is he dealing with his personal stuff, but he’s starting from the back with 20 places of engine penalties

With an engine that only needs to last one race. I can see him getting to 4th if... when Ferrari screw it up again.

Yeah, turn that sucker up to 11, pretend you're hate fucking ex-Mrs Bottas and go for it.

I expect Mercedes will turn up the engine to 11 (they may even be running some of next years parts?) but Bottas will find a way to stick it in the wall or something before they can learn anything from it. You heard it here first.

I reckon he’ll collide with someone in the midfield, break a wing or get a puncture and then end up just about in the points. Bottas has never been very good at wheel to wheel combat. Then again maybe with the engine up to 11 he’ll just get past everyone on the straights.

Loved Vettel’s spin in Q1

Nice to see Hammy finish the season with a pole. Also happy to see Norris out-qualify Sainz 11-10. He just needs to translate that into results.

It has been a decent year of rookies. Normally one deserves a place and the rest are there with sponsorship but Lando has been great, Albon has had some cracking races, Russel has done all he can with an absolute shitter. I am interested to see George R up against Latiffi next season, 4 seasons in GP2/F2 to get second does not smack of instant success but Albon was not a star and VanDoorne was an absolute belter in the lower formulae, as was Hulk and look how that turned out!

Is there no DRS then? Is it an experiment for next year?

Supreme drive. Pole, first to flag and fastest lap on old hards. Can anyone catch him?

2020 tyres are in the bin then, all teams have rejected them based on the new tyre design needing to change the suspension hard points and geometry to get the most out of them ~2 months from the first test and there’s a massive carve up of car designs next year anyway.

Russell has also been out in an F1 car this season, must have been an exciting step up from his Williams GP2 car he’s been in all year.

On another note I’ve been reading Webber’s book and fuck me he doesn’t beat about the bush  Well worth a read.

Did this sentence make some kind of sense when you wrote it?
