Have we had anything positive from Brexit yet?

This has a good chance of pushing us back into the single market

If trump goes ahead with his universal import tariff plan, we won’t have anywhere else to go.

Rachel Reeves didn't seem to care when that was brought up last week!

Broccers would love that.

Which was all a bit naive.

Imagine a world of politics where no-one hates each other and they can all go for drinks after a healthy debate.

To be honest, I'm not sure I really believed it. Usually you hear a lot of noise and bluster, but when it comes to the crunch I find people are better/kinder/smarter than you give them credit for.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where some have made people’s right to exist peacefully political.

It’s hard to laugh and joke when the guy you like wants to physically harm my friends tbh

I don’t link peoples voting habits with who they are, everyone has their own reasons.

Very true...

I drink in a pub (yes, really) surrounded by lefts, rights, straight, not straight, men, ladies, and take all of their views on board. It's good everyone is different. As soon as insults come out you have lost any credibility unless you are replying to them.

I'm all for getting this Labour stazi out, this is a step in the right direction and also Trump will put a leash around the UKs neck to behave in the right way.

Who you vote for says something about you, voting for trump says to me that people either agree with him or don’t care about the people his policies will hurt.

Both are monstrous to me.

Some people don’t get to treat politics like a game of football.

I could say the same about people who vote for Harris enabling child trafficking.

It’s not a healthy place to be.

You’re right, which is why a lot of people on the American left didn’t vote for her.

Lashing out in hopes of a gotcha is a bit silly.

They've just been democratically elected - you'll get the chance to exercise your vote in 2029.
