Tough game, but I think England just about edged it. We were brilliant for most of the latter part of the game and extra time. Great to be in a final, I'm happy with how we've done even if we lose the final.

Well that was tense

I thought that we were comforably the better team there - certainly from 75 mins onwards. Stategic error from the Danes using all their subs as well.

My heart is still thumping. Little man fell asleep in my wife's arms on the sofa. Couldn't bear to put him to bed properly. Amazing night. Whether or not we deserved that penalty, we were definitely the better team and deserved to win.



Oh, and that Sterling can still run like that after 2 hours on the pitch is incredible. What an athlete.

While Denmark’s free kick was superb, the circumstances in which the foul triggering it was awarded were very dubious.

Still, I’ll take it. Denmark seemed to run out of steam after the 75th minute and England dominated after that.

You may have won, but I'd like to point out we scored the most goals.

Looking on Instagram last night at the @433 posts (I think they're the largest football page on Instagram), I was quite surprised how many comments and upvotes there were for saying Denmark were robbed. I think it was a soft penalty, but I didn't think they deserved the free kick from which they scored.

I thought England were the better side. We had way more shots, more possession and as others have said, Denmark seemed to run out of energy mid second half. I also think Schmeichel was a big reason that Denmark didn't concede more, I thought he had a really good game and saved some big chances (2.9 goals according to the stats).

Hopefully the game against Italy will be a good one.

Excellent game. Demarks defence was brilliant, and Schmeichel outstanding. If we can break that down (eventually) then we can break the Italians.
