I don’t want one, I just like seeing unusual cars being kept alive and driven

A very rare car

Now I want I ride in the back. I thought it was a pick up truck conversion when I saw it from far.
That FMC plate, is usually associated with Ford Motor Corp press cars

I really don’t see the attraction of a BX!
Quirky '80s frenchness, great ride quality, and the GTIs were brisk enough.
We had 3 - a 16TRS on an A-plate, a 19 GT Digit (v. v. rare) on a C-plate and a facelifted 17 DTR Estate on an F-plate.

Saw my first Taycan today on the M25 sitting behind the spray of a lorry. Either a potato or just running low on juice
We saw them for the first time today at PC Nottingham. The missus thought they looked pretty good - especially compared with the Panamera...
My mind was elsewhere as they also had two GT4s and a GT2 RS in.

As we left another customer turned up with a GT3 RS 4.0, so a good day for car spotting.

Volvo 850 estate in full 1994 Btcc livery. Not a quick 5min job either, but full on replica. Nice and low too, just needs some suitably touring car looking wheels.
Not in an easy spot to get a photo in the day, but was still there on my way home tonight, so you’ll have to excuse the beany spec photo

Spotted a 20-plate Unimog yesterday. In fact, I followed it for about 10 miles up the A46 because it cheekily pulled iut in front of me at a roundabout.
Crikey, they’re not slow! He pulled away from me as he exceeded the 50 limit. I also thought he was going for a cheeky overtake at one point on the Evesham bypass. They clearly have a lot of gears and aren’t DCT but the 40-50mph acceleration is impressive.

Near me I used to see a mint, dark green Maestro Turbo. A Nissan Bluebird Turbo and there is a purple 405 Mi16 4x4.
I want them all!!
Dave!

Evesham bypass. .
It's the Wacky Races on there. Without fail you will witness awful driving.
I still remember being overtaken by one car which was overtaken itself by a W205 C63 507, easily doing 140+
Then there's all the foreign trucks without limiters doing 50mph + on back roads

I think when the HGV speed limit was raised to 60 many went in to get delimited, I was following a lorry doing 75 last week
Rarely saw it before that.

I remember Tiff Needell having a manual E61 back in the day and thinking how cool is that. I've never seen one since.

Alcester bypass is the really mad one now; Evesham’s got a bit too much traffic on it.

The new Defender and Taycans are out in force, seen close to 10 of each over the past 24 hours. Also I saw a Seat Tarragon R or something - it looked like a Golf R on stilts.

Not strictly allowed as it’s a dealership photo but I had to post a picture as I’ve never seen one before and it’s so ugly - reminds me of a bottom feeder fish with a Kia style grill

Continued walking the dog past the Bentley dealership too - most improved car of the year goes to the Bentayga, much better looking but I didn’t get a pic as I had a dog lead in one hand and a sack of shit (he really didn’t like the Roma!) in the other.
