Re: Your fleet running reports
I think I managed a complete 720 at one point !
Re: Your fleet running reports
I didn't expect that from the weather !
Re: Your fleet running reports
Drove to Bath today 29 mpg at steady 89mph. Can't moan. I'm actually starting to think putting miles on the boxster is not a good Idea for its value. After giving away my m coupe doing the same with one if 140 ish UK cars isn't a great move. #futureclassic
Re: Your fleet running reports
Just use it, there are thousands of Boxsters.
If you want an appreciating asset buy artwork or go hunting in the auctions.

The guys who run it, I have known for twenty plus years. I trust them.

Which is fair enough Gav but when code readers are £15 for a stand-alone device, or £10 for a WiFi dongle + £5 for phone software…. I wouldn’t be without one - just for the convenience of being able to look yourself (and clear codes). Dongle allows you to view massively more in real-time of course.
Re: Your fleet running reports
I do have one, I would have to google where the port is though!mik wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:34 amWhich is fair enough Gav but when code readers are £15 for a stand-alone device, or £10 for a WiFi dongle + £5 for phone software…. Ah OK. Have just checked for you - it’s on the top of the main block - you just need to pop the head off to plug it in. Let us know how you get on.Gavin wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 9:38 amI do have one, I would have to google where the port is though!mik wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 8:34 amWhich is fair enough Gav but when code readers are £15 for a stand-alone device, or £10 for a WiFi dongle + £5 for phone software…. "The head"? That seems a complicated place to put a diagnostics port. I hate cars.mik wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 9:57 amAh OK. Re: Your fleet running reports
Had the Volvo do it's City Safe self braking on me for the first time, it scared the fuck out of me .
I was only moving it a foot closer to the garage after cleaning it and it saw the Karcher approaching and shit itself, fully braking to a stop from about 3 mph, I thought I'd hit an imaginary wall!
It doesn't like parking close to things I guess!

Re: Your fleet running reports
Had a call from the local Renault dealer to book the Zoe in for a service and MOT. Person calling explaining that they wanted me to book now, so that it was done before the MOT expired. After confirming the MOT expiry date, they then told me there was no availability until after, but I could go ahead and book it in anyway.
Not the most impressive service experience.

I’m throwing vast sums of money at my high mileage 500e, it’s not there for looking at, experienced and memories are there for the taking
