Agree with that. Send the video to the police and let them deal with it. Unfortunately too many cyclists fancy themselves as the next Jeremy vine and want to post it all over and argue about it

Red light jumping is getting towards Cypriot levels in London. Pedestrian crossings no longer respected by 1/3 of drivers. I think the 20 limits and narrowing of car lanes have just filled everyone with rage. It’s gradually moving towards third world levels of driving.

Jumping red lights is getting out of control - it's partially down to the rampant increase in traffic lights so people just get idotic and impatient. There are countless islands near me that have been changed to traffic lights over the last decade..... and I've still no idea why we can't turn left on red when there is a dedicated left-turn (If the Americans can manage it....)

Yesterday I saw three cars go through a set of lights after it turned red… fucking three? It’s absolutely mind blowing.

It’s not that bad in Stockton but there’s plenty still at it. One that I have noticed doing it more and more is bus drivers

Sheffield area is pretty bad. On more than one occasion I've had a car pull around me after I've stopped at a red light and drive through.

I had that the other day. I was on the inside of the lane because I was turning right straight after the junction and he went all the way over to the oncoming lane to roar past.

Just realised I’m going to be coming home in the dark next week.

Can’t remember the last time I cycled in the dark tbh.

It didn’t work so well in Russia.

If it stayed at a certain level, I’m fine with it but it never will. It’ll be curtain twitching holier than thous picking on everyone’s mistakes.

Fine people massively either financially or by removal of their transport, police it by policemen and women. I’d happily pay a strong increase in tax if it went to efficiently fund more visible policing.

I had an old dear in a Micra almost do that to me but my spidey senses saved the day.

Seems to be quite a few motorbikes now taking the Jeremy Vine approach to engineering potential incidents now so they can post to social media. See a situation developing then accelerate to make sure they can become part of it and share for likes.
