Despite USA’s ceasefire attempts, Ukraine didn’t advise trump that this was happening, shows no one trusts america anymore

And also seeing claims they hit at least one nuclear submarine in Severomorsk. Way north, close to the top of Norway & Finland. Nearly 1200 miles north of the northernmost bit of Ukraine.

I read a military strategy thing saying that pretty much any land concession would be a complete disaster for Ukraine.
The current front line is a combination of natural defenses - rivers, forests, hills etc, and a tunnel/trench network build and refined over 12 years.
Any concession of land beyond that front line would leave only open fields all the way to Kiev, where Russia can make it's numerical advantage count.

Fck Trump, how much of the US west coast would he give to russia to placate an illegal invasion?

Step up the military aid and get every last ruskii out of eastern Ukraine and Crimea. Then keep the tariffs and embargoes on russia until they become another Cuba.

I'm not sure that would work with Russia. I think China, India probably most of Asia and Latin America would be fine continuing to trade with them.

Proposals include giving Putin access to the rare earth minerals in the Ukrainian territories currently occupied by Russia.
So depending on what side you're on, they are either Ukrainian or Russian rare earth minerals?

But they're definitely not trumps to do anything with..?

I'm pretty sure that had already been ruled out previously as it's effectively giving Putin exactly what he wants - Ukraines natural resources. It's one of the actual reasons they invaded (beyond the rhetoric for the russian people about them being heretical gay nazis or whatever)

So it would be like giving a dog a big box of Bonio because they mauled a child.

Putin invaded because he wants USSR2 and he wants that to be his legacy. He doesn't believe Ukraine has a legitimate right to exist as a sovereign nation, it's as simple as that.

I don't know if he actually believes that, or if he thought that claiming that would give him (if he had been successful - which he hasn't been) a mandate to stay in power in some roundabout way, for longer.

I don’t think it’s that, he can stay in power as long as he wants anyway as that’s the reason he is still there. I think he changed the rules twice already to keep him in office.

Dave!

"Sorry, we're having difficulty playing this video" but from context clues I guess the woman brought up the 30,000 ukrainaian children...

....""""""""adopted""""""""....

By russia, which is a war crime. And was told that was being ignored because getting a trade deal to end the conflict was more important.

That was exactly the point she raised and Trump told everyone she and he just made the largest trade deal in history - which was really great. And then moved on.

Yeah, that was the gist I got from the replies, and I'm not remotely surprised.

That's he's publicly able to be such a disgusting ghoul and not just have the shit kicked out of him on the spot really is a bit sad on everybodies part, honestly.
