I don't think I follow anybody who still posts. Everything else is news tweets from companies/organisations that I follow and generally get the same info elsewhere.
I've mass deleted most of my posts, was in the thousands and wont be posting again, I visit twitter about once a week at most.
I've got a blueskies account, but yet to use it. I also have a mastodon account that I am yet to post, but do follow a few people.
Twitter is a much better place when you *only* use the "following" tab rather than the "for you" tab.

Exactly what I was about to say. I only follow people I'm interested in hearing from, so apart from a few ads the "following" tab is quite efficient.

Yeah, that'll make up for the increasing number of financial press articles stating that Twitters value has gone from """$44bn""" to under $10bn in two years and the fact that no-one with any real money is advertising on there any more.

Thing is....

More videos alone is just more cost to Twitter

Capitulated? From that article, Unilever's statement: “reached an agreement with X, which has committed to meeting our responsibility standards to ensure the safety and performance of our brands on the platform.”

Basically, they will have entered into a settlement agreement with Musk where they agree not to pull their advertising from TwitteX but Musk has had to agree a commitment to them regarding how their brands are presented. I think that's probably more of a capitulation by Musk. And I'm fairly confident he'll breach that quickly. Meaning that Unilever will be entirely safe to reintroduce their total ban on TwitteX adverts and Musk's only remedy being to go to court again in a separate action to demonstrate how he responsibly presents their adverts - not a case I think he'd want to run because he'd have to present hard evidence

I thought of this gif, but at what point would Musk run away?

I don’t like Musk or Trump or Twitter, but that really is old news and boring AF.

I'm going to try this Blue sky thing, Twitter is just nonsense now, shame as it was quite good for car things for a while.

Even Bob Mortimer is leaving now, which is the push I think I needed to leave

I’m liking bluesky tbh.

It’s like twitter before they monetised being an arsehole.

I just signed up, it does on first impression feel like twitter did when it first started, which is promising.
