That’s sexual harassment.

It was quite pleasant out today, sat on me door step with a coffee, had a wee chat with an old dear about how things are these days, not much traffic.

At lunchtime, turned the car over, put the roof down, chilled out in the sun

I'm finding the isolation really very trying, though. Looking forward to going shopping tomorrow and getting more than ten feet from my front door.

I went to the shop this afternoon in the foolish hope that the time of bare shelves was calming down. Waste of time, still fuck all we wanted in there other than fresh veg.

I hate to hand it to them, but the panic buyers had it right, anyone who didn't do it is now scraping the barrel for scraps.

Don't get me wrong, it's a first world problem, we're not going hungry. :-D

I can’t decide if the distraction of work is keeping me sane, or stopping me enjoying myself doing fun stuff around the house.

I built my new Weber on Tuesday. 8-)

I'm loving 'WFH' TBH, I've been sleeping well and feeling pretty good most of the time.

All eyes on China. If they get a 2nd peak we could be in for a long lock down.
This is (I know this is about all I am saying right now) the serology testing comes in. If you can work out who has had it, cleared it and is now immune and not going to spread it - they can return to daily life.

Caveat - few ifs in there (pretty much 100% on immunity now, less so on spreading)

Why do I feel like I’m about to get punished for avoiding infection?

Police spot checks are a hilarious concept considering you can go out to just buy food.

I’ve had a bit of a tough week to be honest! I work 5 days and my missus works 3, with nursery stopped we’ve had to find a way to do this and look after a 2 year old.

We’ve basically settled on me doing mon/wed/fri and her doing tues/thurs and just doing more hours on them to make it work, but you try convincing a 2 year old that his mum can’t come and play with him even though he knows she’s in the front room!

I think there’ll be some elaborate good byes and sneaking back in the house from now on!

The flip side of it is that I’m so busy because we had a really good run of winning projects - but it’s going to tough to deliver them (construction) and keep the cash flowing...

We both work 5 days and now have a 3 year old to contend with!

Wife is a teacher so she is a key worker but I'd rather have him at home all the time tbh.

And his pre school is shutting anyway next week so we be stuck either way!

This'll be me next week. My fiancee and her girls are 10 miles away, so we can't see them, my kids go back to their mother Monday night for 7 days. It's going to be a lonely old week here by myself. My neighbour on one side lives in London most of the time, and the other is an exellent community centre/cafe, which is now shut.

I might go the whole week without wearing clothes, just for a laugh.

We both work full time and this week has been impossible. Wife is global lead on a major tech platform for one of the biggest global pharmas. She's quite obviously been bombed out.

This has meant I've had to sneak whatever I can in where I can. And with a 4yo that's missing school, as well as me having to run the house because wife is on full isolation, that means I've not done much. By the time evening comes around I'm utterly shattered and just can't get my head into my work. Trying to reset client expectations is hard especially when so many have stay at home partners.

I think I'm going to have to work weekends realistically - I mean they don't really exist anymore anyway do they?

Rubbish isn’t it. we’re trying to cling on to the idea weekends because it just seems that from about 6:30am til 11pm all we’re doing is trying to find a spare minute between looking after Sam to do our jobs.

My wife's on maternity leave and so luckily for me our days haven't really changed much at all. Except instead of going into the office/visit a customer 1 or 2 days a week and at home the rest, I'm now at home 100%. I don't really miss the commute or the office noise and distractions to be honest. I'm at my most productive at home.

I'm just frustrated as it's Noah's first summer and we were looking forward to taking him down to the coast and out into the parks etc, which obviously isn't happening at the moment.
