"the ones with many arms" gave me flashbacks to the Tom Selleck classic "Runaway"

Oh this looks like a good one.

"We might be on the verge of a HUGE SCANDAL. Suspicions have been raised that Reform have fielded election candidates that aren’t real people. Is there any evidence that Mark Matlock (candidate for Clapham & Brixton Hill) actually exists? He looks AI generated."

According to his twitter account he couldn't attend the electoral count as he had pneumonia, went to the hospital and it was closed because Tories.

Comments from the above thread in relation to his campaign image:
- pupils are different colours and sizes
- hair is clearly AI generated
- heavily misaligned sideburns
- eyebrows different shapes
- baby smooth face for an adult man
- ear on the left merges with cheek
- stripes on suit are wildly mismatched
- there’s an unusual hole in the shirt under the left side of the collar
- shirt has no buttons or placket, which would show with the tie so far to the left
- you have a sharp canine where there shouldn’t be
- unusually asymmetrical collar that’s slightly larger on one side

There could actually be something in this

The picture is definitely AI, but that doesn't guarantee the person isn't real. My friend used some AI app where he put in a selfie and it polished him up and made him look like the above for a work profile picture.

I've seen this as well recently on LinkedIn. Because, I guess, people are stupid bandwagon-jumping idiots.

Apparently he's going to post a selfie.

In, specifically, five days. Because apparently having 'pneumonia' means you can send tweets, but can't take a selfie for five days.

So I guess Reform are calling up lookalike agencies to see who looks like their AI generated picture

And because he has no photos of himself whatsoever already.

I mean, who does, when their a parliamentary candidate for a party that claims they're the new opposition?

That'd be silly!

I'm thinking the problem is more like that episode of father ted, where the house is just filled with Nazi memorabilia, and it'd take about...ooh, five days, to clear it down so that there's not something embarrassing in the shot.

It’s not exactly a conspiracy. He simply has no new Listers to display. I looked into it a little when the owner was selling his pimped up Unimog. Which didn’t sell and then he said he wouldn’t sell it anyway as it’s the best car ever.
Just bought the company because he could, then proceeded to make a slightly modified F Type and F Pace (bolt on bits) for a silly price. Of which I don’t think they ever sold any and all his Lister companies are listed as dormant. Or there’s some shady shit going on.
As for the classics division it’s just his personal car collection…

Oh look, there’s that Unimog again, and all those other Listers

Also, I wouldn’t recommend buying a warranty off him either. Seems taking people’s money and then never paying out when they make a claim is a solid business!

So yeah, moaning that Goodwood charge £100k for 2 cars so you can’t attend is a bit like me moaning that I’m not buying the new Bugatti Tourbillion because the 2 tone paint is overpriced.

He could have just bought a ticket; that’s less than £100k.

I was in a meeting this morning with two Gen-Zs (one about 19, the other about 24 years old) and they both think a) Covid was faked, b) The Trump attempted assassination was a deep state setup :x

I told them both to get their heads checked, to stop listening to paranoid Americans on the internet and read some proper reliable news sources

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I still don't buy Trump being shot. all we saw was him hold his ear, drop out of sight, get surrounded by security, then come up with blood.

I've clearly been watching too many movies, but it doesn't seem like that part of the process would be particularly hard to stage.

He doesn't have the physical wherewithal to pull that off - he'd have smeared it all over himself, or dropped a capsule.

Also, you know, the dead guy in the crowd is a bit of a giveaway. Unless you're suggesting that 'as part of his job' he decided that a supporter was worth killing for a bit of PR as he effectively can't be prosecuted for it of he wins. And he has said he could shoot someone on fifth avenue and not lose any votes.

...Aw shit, I'm part of the problem now...
