It is bloody scary when you see the way we are going with de Pfeffel, we are normally only a short way behind our mercun cousins.
Does everything have to come back to how much you hate the Tories?
Aye, our police haven’t started murdering people of colour with impunity yet and when the far right try and organise a protest no one turns up. I’m not super worried if I’m honest.
It was his tweets and just lying with impunity that made me think of the de Pfeffel gang. And no, not everything does come back to that but the two relevant threads.

A report from two years ago about an incident from 5 years ago doesn’t really compare to what happens in the US Gavin.
My first comment was that we are often following along behind. Not that we were identical.

So what do you mean then?
I think you and I probably largely agree politically but you keep falling into messy hyperbolism that doesn’t do anybody any good.
It’s almost Daily Mail levels of dramatics at times.

I am genuinely lost for words at the too-many-to-post examples of the seemingly out of control police in the US that are all over social media today. The place has gone f*cking mental but I can't help think this is exactly what Trump wants and its going to end up with some martial law, whites-only police state.

Throw in a casual use of “Pfeffel” and suddenly it sounds knowledgable though!

My first post was this:
"It is bloody scary when you see the way we are going with de Pfeffel, we are normally only a short way behind our mercun cousins."
I was comparing Trump's style of leadership with that of dear old Johnson's.
You then said one death doesn't compare to the US deaths but that was not what I was doing, you had said we hadn't started killing people of colour with impunity., my link was responding to that.
The situation in the US is fucking horrifying.
Apologies for the wee dig at the Tories but yes, I do not like them.

Troops on the street and the attorney general is talking about using anti terrorism laws for protestors. It’s getting pretty alarming over there.
