You're so fucking boring Gav. So

crusty.
That said, as far as domestic appliances go, that looks pretty alright

Yep, it’s basically a washing machine with heated seats

I once knew a lass who used a washing machine as....no, wait....that was something different, now I think about it.

Newmarket was on the way to Milton Keynes? Did you start in Amsterdam?
Nice work though. Suffolk is lovely and far too far away to bump into any of us. Except Marv.

I’m about 10mins from Newmarket

And Harry. Though it was only Marv I bumped into (on the road in his 968) when I spent new year in Southwold just before COVID.
Oh, and maybe Ed Sheeran.

And me! Well I'm in Norfolk and Suffolk quite a lot nowadays

I started in Sudbury, and the property was a few miles north of there, so the whole thing did make sense, honest!
Also looks like Suffolk might a mini Evo forum hotspot

wonder if I’ll be allowed with my washing machine

A washing machine with a fridge in the back, if your original criteria are being fulfilled. You can bring the snacks

That is true, it's fun to throw anything around, even if it's just to marvel at the sloppiness.
Having said that, one of the reasons I went for the Ateca is that it's been reviewed as being top of it's class in terms of handling

so should be able to have some fun with it

My Bio Paternal unit had an Arona a few years back, or whatever the teeny version is called. It had an amazingly high spec.
We did look at a black 19 plate Ateca which had leather and what not but it was a dirty diesel and although I have done 20k plus since July 2023 when I bought the Superb, I thought petrol was the better option.

Yep, the Arona is the smaller one, it's supposed to be a little harsher on the handling, but the boot is laughably small.

Order confirmed

collecting 3pm Friday at Marshall Cambridge.
I asked them a few more questions and they have given three days free insurance which means I can arrange my new policy from Monday 2nd instead of Friday which knocks a few more £££ off the premium.

Perhaps one thing that's worth looking into if you're looking to moving to rural Suffolk is check that the broadband is half decent where you're looking at. If it's a relatively remote village not near a small town, it still might be a number of years until fibre to the premise arrives. If you're lucky, Gigaclear might be putting in fibre already...
I'm on ~75 mbps now. Previous place I lived was up to 8mbps when we got swapped over to the "faster" exchange
Sudbury is only about 15-20min away from me. I moved away from the coast where Jobbo spotted me years ago, and I'm near Lavenham now.
We really should organise a Suffolk meet at some point!
A friend of mine has owned an Ateca for several years now and he seems to really like it

I used to have a 2wd karoq, more or less same car under the surface, although with more comfort orientated suspension. Flowed down the road quite nicely, and was a nice place to sit in
