Bonkers but brilliant - funny, interesting - as you’d expect from Gattis and Moffat...
Mrs is watching this and it's so bloody boring.
She's watching the wrong thing then, it's epic. I shall have nightmares tonight.

Well, she did have nightmares  It had moments of interest, just spaced so very far apart. Having woken up for the end of ep2 i will probably sit through the 3rd now.

Love the first two episodes of Dracula, Sister Agatha being the standout star, but where did it all go wrong with that finale??

Finally got round to watching the latest Grand Tour. As much as I'm enjoying Top Gear, that boat special reminds you just how good they are at that stuff and how enjoyable it is to watch them. Got all nostalgic.

Rich B wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:20 pm Just watched the Topgear Nepal one, ok but a bit pointless.

There was a load of abuse on CHs twitter over the 106 and the Renault. I do kind of agree that it was a shame to kill the 106 as they are pretty rare, but having seen how common Renault 4s still are in some countries I couldn’t give a monkeys about them.

Madagascar has THOUSANDS of R4s, they’re used as taxis (as well as 2CVs and other little old french shit boxes.)

The old owner of the 106 replied on Twitter to CH and others about the 106. It was no garage queen. It had nearly 130,000 miles and was pretty ropey. He was glad to see it go out like this.

Good god it's shite, far worse than I could possibly have imagined.

I was expecting some light Saturday evening telly, a bit like through the keyhole where they give some clues, sing a song, have a guess then the reveal, but nope, they're dragging it out like some sort of xfactor contest with only one singer being revealed at the end of each show!

( I did not make the choice to watch it! )

I was only aware of this because Ryan Reynolds appeared on the original one in the Far East - I can only imagine the sort of z-list celebs ITV have been able to attract/afford.

I’m watching James May’s Japan series on Amazon, on the third episode so far. It’s just about alright enough to keep you interested enough to keep watching but not to doze off in typical James May fashion.

That really does not surprise me one bit.

I was forced to endure it as well. Wtaf indeed.

Just watched ep3 of Dracula. Mostly worked and I could see what they were trying to achieve bringing into our current time amd the science elements. But there seemed to be far too many filler scenes that were unnecessary to the story telling, unlike the 1st 2 eps which were tight. Nice idea but didn't quite hit the mark.

We thought it might have worked better with the 1st 2 eps as the last 2 and part of a flashback of Helsing after she consumed Draculas blood.

The Masked SInger.

The complete anti-climax once the celeb was revealed was palpable. That and their embarrassment at then having to repeat their song unmasked.

I like The Voice though.

Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer

Wild Wild Country

Documentary Series about the Rajneesh movement and the town they tried to build in Oregon. Really interesting, I can't believe I'd never heard of it before tbh.
