Between them the two presidential candidates will have spent a billion dollars by the time they’re voting.
That money has to come from somewhere.

It’s also why all politicians are incredibly good at stocks and shares.
I read somewhere that Nancy Pelosi had gains about 1200% better than Warren Buffet with her shares portfolio
It has, was, and will always be a dodgy profession.
Dave!

Although he has always directed his 'crooked' allegations at the entire Democratic party so it's irrelvant who runs, he'll just keep saying the same carp.
This - he's too clever to try to engage with Harris so he'll continue with the crooked line (e.g.Biden's lying - he didn't have Covid, you can't trust the Democrats, no matter who they have standing etc. ).

No, the whole system is corrupt.

Well, Trump is getting $45M a month from Musk, just in case you needed more reasons to despise space karen.

Saw this earlier and thought it was delightfully ironic for that reason.

Good to see the old 'not antisemitism' from Musk is still going.
Aside, a bit more info on the options for the Dems and what happens next.

And now that trump is the old bloke there will be a swift maga pivot towards "age doesn't matter".
I had to pop out and was just listening to R4 - that is EXACTLY what is happening.
Presenter questioned Trump campaigner on this topic and he replied "in our country we don't care about age".
But can I interrupt you - hasn't the Trump campaign made a huge deal about Biden's age and the fact this is a problem?
"Look - are you saying you're concerned that Harris is 20 years older than Vance?"
No I'm asking about Presidential Candidates....
Silence
Apparently within 30mins of the Biden announcement there was a Republican TV piece aired explaining that Harris is complicit with the lies that Biden has sufficient mental acuity to be president. She's well aware that he isn't and lied to the public - she's actually been running everything in the background for years, and therefore all of the US issues <list all the issues> are actually all down to her.
Trump campaigner suggested that Biden was completely incompetent and unable to lead the country.
Presenter asked "are you suggesting then that - if she is confirmed as the Democrat candidate - that she should urgently take over office ahead of the election?"
I am ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Kamala absolutely smashing the fundraising now that Biden is out. $100m received in small donations since she became the candidate.

As long as that translates to votes on the day, that bodes well.

to be fair, no one believed Biden would beat trump last time.

I see Harris’s Irish heritage has been uncovered which should have a bit of an influence on some voters…

Maybe it’s not the link she’d want but Americans do love to think they’re Irish

I watched a video with Trump playing golf with Bryson DeChambeau last night. Couple of things I noticed; Trump isn't actually that bad at golf. The other thing is he looks quite old without all the orange makeup on and he looked to struggle moving around.

I'm not surprised he's a decent golfer given how much time he spends doing it. He spent more time away from the office than any other president before him, and probably more than several others combined.

yeah, it was pretty funny when the tories were trying to give Starmer shit for eating dinner with his family on a friday night, saying that running a country is a 24/7 role… when Trump is playing golf twice a week.
