Are you doing anything with the forks, Barry? Like an oil change or rebuild?

They had an oil change last year so I'll wait and see how they cope once the rear is working as Yamaha intended. Hagon do fork upgrades but I'm kinda hoping they cope tbh, I'm not after razor sharp handling so long as its stable in fast turns and doesn't chew rear tyres for fun any more.

I cleaned the chain on the 748 today now I'm on a roll. Turns out it's gold in colour

I'm escorting a funeral procession tomorrow on the service bike. Not sure what that's going to be like.

Well that was quite an experience. It's proof that other drivers are not always clueless cvnts - we got around the Norwich ring road in heavy traffic and to the crem with the whole procession including 25 random bikers still together as a single group, with 2 of us at each end. It was quite a sight, and other road users were happy to sit and wait, or fall back as required.

Most importantly, the family were over the moon with the whole thing.

I still don't want to go to the big bonfire on a Harley though, as impressive as it looked.

People are generally respectful with funeral processions I find, which is something at least.

On a lighter note Hagon have called to inform me my shock should arrive on Thursday! Quick turn around and a call back that actually occurred, colour me shocked.

Fazer gets collected next week hopefully so I'll have less of a soggy bottom soon..

All Year Biker been today, super pleased with the results - bikes look like new and are now nicely protected from all the shite out there.






£70 well spent I think.

In rural Ireland, it's still not uncommon for traffic moving in the opposite direction to a Funeral procession to stop completely until cortege has passed - nice to see in this day and age.

Always nice to get a good shot of you on the bike I reckon, I'm determined to get a decent knee down shot eventually.

Fazer is now at my friendly mechanic getting shock/new bearings in suspension, service and CCT thrown in. Should sort a few of the issues out.

It amazes me how when you’re on the bike you think it’s cranked over and you’re really sticking your knee out and then you look at the picture and you’ve got loads of lean left and your knee is about 2 inches away from the tank. At least that’s always how it feels to me.
