They're not as complicated as people make out.
A lot of people are scared of Hydractive cars but there's not much to go wrong really.
Can't wait for the first roundabout on the way home, I just hope my friend who will be driving my XF back doesn't try keep up down any b roads

Only 12 left on the road currently by the look of it!
Will be a keeper this one.

It’s just a posh Touareg, don’t worry, I’m under no illusions of it being a real Porsche

I'm sure I've seen bits on mine that are branded Vee Dub too.Sundayjumper wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 9:53 amIt’s just a posh Touareg, don’t worry, I’m under no illusions of it being a real Porsche![]()

Where are you? I’m driving Cambridge to Oxford all the time and will be back to visiting my folks in Leeds relatively frequently when lockdown allows so we might be able to work something.16vCento wrote: Mon Mar 22, 2021 5:40 pm I think I've bought a Xantia Activa
Just need to figure out picking it up once stay at home finishes, it's in Cambridge, hopefully I can get a lift down.
Classic insurance £120 with Lancaster as well which is handy![]()
We can compare XFs!

Re: Your fleet running reports
The retro-fit Pioneer ICE in the Boxster is slowly coming back to life having thrown a bit of a wobbly. It has gone from never booting up during a 90 minute drive, to taking 20 minutes and now coming on in 30 seconds.
Goodness knows what was up. Some weird software glitch that has worked itself out. Just glad I procrastinated rather than paying for an expert to fix it!
Still not got round to sorting the dent in the XF’s front wing and really should do.

I'm on Rombalds Moor, it's about 5 miles from Bingley and 5 Miles from Ilkley I'm on the top of it!Explosive Newt wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 2:28 pmWhere are you? Great photos @Delphi @GG.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Somehow this car has passed me by. Don’t know much about them apart from reading bits and bods online about its trick suspensions. I think there’s a Hubnut video on these as well I might have watched?
Cool car!

Surely you can remember the advert with two photos, one stood still on a corner, the other supposedly doing 50mph or something and the only difference was a bit of flex on the roof mounted aerial
Cheers, Harry

Apart from the curiosity value I don’t *quite* see the appeal but full respect for knowing what you want and making it happen
