Heavy snow here around 4.30pm but too wet to lay despite it being below zero.

Big bright moon :)
It's not quite full - about 98% - but tomorrow's full moon looks like it'll be hidden by cloud

Woohoo! Can see the big, bright, waning full moon (if there's such a thing; the full moon was yesterday but some places are calling it full tonight, it's at 99% atm sooo :? Anyway, after a cloudy, wet day it's good to see some clear sky, the moon, stars, and (I think) Venus.

^ Pretty much that again, except a 40% chance of some rain between now and nine.
The moon is 99% full, full tomorrow, hopefully clear in the evening & night but storms are forecast for the day :(

I thought it was a full moon just now - weather is nice and mild.

Make of this what you will; https://moonphases.co.uk/moon-calendar :?
I think the rain past us by, the sky is clearer and the wind has dropped. Low of 12° tonight, it would all be perfectly pleasant were it not for...

Watching the full moon rise while listening to birdsong 8-)

The moon is in Scorpio; Charles is a Scorpio.

Moon looked massive tonight behind the trees and I had some spare time as I’m working in the shed so stuck my phone on Timelapse whilst I finished up rubbing my wood.

Excellent, thanks for that 8-)
It's a full moon tonight :D

I quite fancy a night drive, but the car is covered in grotty (I assume) Saharan dust and the windows are horribly dirty which rather spoils and wastes the clear atmosphere and bright moon. I don't think there are any 24hr jet washes around here to give them a quick clean.

Thunder! Lightning! Muted though, no storm, just a strongly worded drizzle.

The thunder woke me up. Quite heavy rain for a while too so hopefully the water butt has had a good top up :)

Typical that they announce hosepipe bans and then biblical rain is forecast the day after.

I’m from the north, what’s a hosepipe ban?

We had a 3 min shower around mid day yesterday, a little overnight at some point but certainly nothing which woke me despite open windows.

An hour or so of moderate rain again this evening but no rumbling or downpours.

The whole week has been glorious, but cool enough not to make sleeping horrible. Unfortunately my hayfever has gone into overdrive and been feeling pretty crap for most of it 😅

Just had a long, v. low rumble of thunder that rattled some things in the house
Checked the forecast and there's now a storm warning that wasn't there yesterday
