It has been windy for ages, hasn’t it?
For the whole of this year so far at least, I think it began before Christmas though.

I don’t mind the cold, but wish the wind and rain would just piss off. I hate trying to do things outside and feeling like I’m getting a constant battering.
I still can't believe you've not built yourself a workshop.
Then I’d have to find another excuse for not getting anything done

Woohoo, nice bit of snow at the office today.
I've already seen a BMW struggling to move on this little white stuff outside the office door.

Who's got snow?
Had about six inches last night through this morning.
I've got a shitty fever and today and Monday off, so that's fucking typical - not only am I ill but it's also snowy and shitty. So I guess I'm not going anywhere this weekend.

We got a dusting last night but not much, I'm hoping for more as it's still otherwise bone dry here and it'll lie.
Bit disappointed as I was planning off bunking off work for an afternoon stroll in the snow today

Rained for pretty much 24h, then turned to sleet then heavy snow for about an hour this morning. Started settling on the grass and edges of the road, then stopped and the sun came out.
4x4 still untested in snow

Pretty bad in Sheffield yesterday but it doesn’t take much snow to bring the area to a halt due to all the hills. Didn’t attempt to drive anywhere as the roads were either blocked with vehicles or fallen trees.

We got an inch at most, although other towns not far away got a fair bit more. We now have a very thin layer in gardens and what not and blooming cold but not freezing (feels it though)

That was last night, obviously I cleared the entire car off before dragging myself to the shops
Which was fun because the lying snow was up to the sills.
Also all season tyres are good, but they aren't winter tyres

It is happening again.
About an inch in ten minutes as I came out the shop, main road up the hill already at a crawl and people thinking that wide open throttle is how to navigate a slippery surface....

Can it all just fro now and let spring start please. Had enough of cold, wet, shite weather.
At least we’re getting a decent amount of daylight now I suppose.
