Good news! Rain has washed (pretty much) all the snow off the parked cars.
Bad news; it's forecast to stop raining Tuesday.

I've only just seen this

I've lost track of things because it's been murky and overcast for so long...so tonight there's a clear sky

We were on Mount Teide last night on a stargazing trip. It's was really good. Got to see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
I tried using the astral photography software on my pixel and it gave some great results. Below is a shot of Orion over the top of Mount Teide.

It's chucking it down and blowing a gale in Brighton
So I put my waterproofs and boots on and went for a lovely long walk along the seafront
Bone dry and it was really quiet down there (no surprises)
Up yours Mother Nature!

Typically the days with nothing planned where I could clear a few odd jobs on the cars it decides to be wet and windy. The couple of days we’re busy have been bright and dry.

As the perineum moves further away the third eye gets more light. I’m all for longer days.

Impressed a phone can take those!
Regarding the night sky I saw a train of Starlink satellites passing over my conservatory roof the other day. Wasn't looking for them, was just putting my bike away in the garage, but couldn't miss them! I had no idea they were quite so obvious!

The wind isn't easing at all, is it. Sheesh. The rain has on occasion but never for very long. I know it's winter...

It has been windy for ages, hasn’t it? I know the press are getting all excited about flooding, with misleading pictures of Tewkesbury (yes, the water is up to the flood plains but I drove right through the centre past the abbey during the week and didn’t even notice it). The wind hasn’t let up though.
Since my wife insists on sleeping with the window open, the noise from the wind has been a constant companion. Fortunately I like windy weather but not to cycle in, so I’ve not been out on my bike since before Christmas.

Grim here. Been having sunbeds the last 2 weeks which lift the mood although I now look like I've been on holiday
Off to the football today, it's raining all day.

I don’t mind the cold, but wish the wind and rain would just piss off. I hate trying to do things outside and feeling like I’m getting a constant battering.

I still can't believe you've not built yourself a workshop.
