My sister works at Heathrow and they've all just been given a 10% pay cut (20% for exec level) for 9 months. Tough but could be a lot worse if it protects her job.

Us getting this project signed off has now been moved up a grade so it’s on the important list. So South Staffordshire get water they are including the new station in this.
So I’m still busy, moving to a cottage today as it’s safer.
No call yet on wage reductions which is a plus, it was all doom and gloom the other day.
Dave!

Yeah the tube looked like it was packed with construction workers again from what pictures I’ve seen.
Maybe they should only let NHS workers use it. Easy enough to police as they all have lanyards anyway.

Why don’t they just build a scaffolding network to move around the city? Think outside the box people ffs.

Nhs staff have been advised not to wear uniform outside of work and keep their Id hidden after muggings in London.
Shame coronavirus can't be a bit more selective with the scumbags it kills off.

Not hard to slip your ID out to show for a second though. Don’t know if it depends on the hospital but the one I stayed at didn’t allow nurses to take their uniform out of the hospital, they always came and went in regular clothes and had a changing room by the patient ward.
Completely different by my parents place as I see the staff everyday waiting for the bus fully kitted out - feels a bit wrong!
Let’s see what Boris does tonight to deal with this.

Well I've just been out for a walk and TBH the roads seem only slightly quieter than norm. I've seen a few with their roofs down clearly making the most of it, including an old fella in a convertable 'Vette

Just had a walk around Newport Pagnell - it is very Quiet but the M1 sounds as busy as ever.
A few out and about, no groups though and everyone giving each other humorous wide hearths. But every one had a kind word for each other as they passed
Far, far too many pensioners though...

Nhs Id badges, i.e. Priority shopping and presumably transport if they start getting tougher on tube use.

Drive home was more like 7am on a Saturday. Mainly lorries and vans, but also lots of old people.
Where are they all going? Why don't they get the message?
