I was gonna post about the doors. I think it's a great quirk. It shows lineage, you know?
It shows the penny pinching accountants getting involved! I bet the designers can't even look at it!
If it saved them enough cash to engineer that extra set of seats who cares
Those seats are great!

I've not watched the video yet but assuming it's a 145, did they have the rear seatbelts attached to chromed steel rods like the 245? I loved the fact that those were visible through the massive rear side windows.
Great vid. Trevor took fastidiousness to a whole new level.
That’s the best YouTube video I’ve ever watched, no guff, no stupidity and beautifully shot, absolutely genuine excitement from them.
Dave!

They were about 7.5 to 60 I seem to remember - that's not bad in it's day!

My grandad had a MG Maestro turbo. Felt pretty rapid to me at the time.
Was still a Maestro though

I remember my mum got one as a courtesy car when someone (17 year old me) wrote off her Maestro. I always though it was a weird car to have on the bodywork courtesy fleet!

That came up on my YouTube recommendation last week.

When my Dad worked for a Vauxhall dealership they would give out the demonstrators as courtesy cars if they ran out of the 1.0 Corsas they usually used. If you were really lucky you might get a V6 Vectra or Omega .
The management types would use them like company cars as well. I’m amazed that they ever actually had any to demonstrate.

Impressive numbers but thoroughly undesirable.
And no I don’t need any tailored skin products.
